So, in the last month, i graduated with most of you, more in spirit than in the flesh, and preached my first sermon up here at SSCC!  Now we are just waiting for a couple of things to happen before we can definitely say we are staying.  Can't wait for that!!!!

Sheryl is doing well.  moving into her 3rd trimester soon   We can't wait for the little guy to come into this world!

Sorry i haven't updated in forever.

Things are going well.  Sheryl and I are good.  We are looking forward to seeing some of you in a couple of weeks when you come for the Soul Care class!  Sadly, I did not see some of your names on the list for people for me to place in houses :(  But I understand.

Time for bed.  Chau!

Wow, it has been a long time since I have been here!  So, what's new?  Well, I just got back from a weekend youth leaders' retreat.  Why?  Who knows!  Sheryl is working with the youth, and so i joined her on this trip, along with my friend Tom, the youth pastor, his wife Robin, (a close friend of Sheryl's, and yes, her name is ironic, Robin :)).  Doug Fields, Duffy Robbins, and one other guy i can't think of right now.  it was really good. I took home a lot of good principles that apply to more than just youth groups.

Our church saw Narnia Thursday evening and Rob preached on it today.  It was great (the movie, as well as the sermon, but I was referring to the sermon).  He focused on God's power to redeem lives, which is very prevalent in the movie.

Other than that, we've been doing well.  I enjoying my internship.  The ministry is good.  Although I am not leading a cell group, I still ministering to the people in it, as well as others who are not.  We really love it here and are constantly struggling with the uncertainty of whether we will be staying here or not. It is tougher on Sheryl mostly, but i still can't stand not knowing.  I want to settle in and really pour my whole life into this place, but there are so many factors that are at play for the church that make it uncertain.  I think that this has been weighing on me more that I myself am even aware, and it is coming out here.

Well, I have to run.  I have a meeting tonight that I have to get ready for.  To all those from or formerly from Nyack, know that I (we) love you and miss you!
